While the River Rotte leads you out of the city via Terbregge and takes you to the Rottemeren nature reserve, you will arrive in the centre via the Ringdijk, Straatweg or Terbregseweg. Hillegersberg-Schiebroek has a variety of residential areas, from the post-war Molenlaankwartier to the garden city of Schiebroek. In between there are recreational areas to be found such as the Bergse Plassen and Plaswijckpark and special boutiques not to be missed on the Bergse Dorpsstraat. You will also find the American International School of Rotterdam here, for children up to grade 12.
